A little bit about me.

Hello, my name is Trevor. I have been a Storyteller and Dungeon Master on and off since late 1998 and I’ve been running roleplay games for just over two decades now while being a bit of a tech head. I’m a family man with two kids and an amazing wife who supports my sometimes quirky endeavours.

I love learning about emerging technologies and utilising them to enhance my players experience while playing at my table. I enjoy building and creating tools and utilities like macro/vba enabled character sheets, MS Access Database campaign managers and even websites for a past shadowrun campaign for me and my players.

I’ve designed and built a few digital gaming tables for myself and some limited customers in the past which has been an amazing journey through development to production. While also providing 3d printed accessories designed and built for my own needs

With the events like Covid and for myself relocating interstate we all have found ourselves looking for new ways to connect without friends remotely while still retaining much of the tabletop experience.

In the last few years this has been supported by the amazing people who developed VTT (virtual table tops) applications and in my case specifically FoundryVTT which has been fundamental for my games as much as the rule system that goes with it, and recommendation for any new Storyteller’s looking to run games online also.

I currently host three professionally run games fortnightly, from heroic one-shots to legendary campaigns from core textbook settings or our own homebrewed worlds. Feel free to click the above link to join my Discord server if you're looking for a game to join.

What is Coriolis and why I enjoy running it?

Coriolis Space Station

Coriolis, a tabletop role-playing game developed by Free League Publishing, immerses players in a rich and captivating science fiction universe. Set in a distant future, the game draws inspiration from Middle Eastern culture and incorporates elements of space opera, mysticism, and political intrigue. Players take on the roles of spacefarers known as "Seekers," navigating the vast expanse of the Third Horizon, a sprawling interstellar cluster of planets and space stations connected by mysterious portals called "the portals of the ancients."

The campaign setting "The Last Voyage of the Ghazali" serves as an engaging introduction to the Coriolis universe. The story unfolds aboard the spaceship Ghazali, where the characters find themselves embroiled in a web of conspiracies, ancient artifacts, and conflicting factions. As the narrative unfolds, players must navigate political tensions, explore abandoned space stations, and confront enigmatic entities that challenge their understanding of the cosmos. The Last Voyage of the Ghazali provides a perfect blend of space exploration and intricate storytelling, setting the stage for epic adventures in the Coriolis universe.

Coriolis - Miitary is Might

In addition to standalone adventures like "The Last Voyage of the Ghazali," Free League Publishing has released a trilogy of campaign-setting books that further expands the Coriolis universe. The first instalment, "Mercy of the Icons," delves into the mysteries of the Icons, powerful and enigmatic entities that influence the Third Horizon. The second book, "The Last Cyclade," takes players on a journey to discover the secrets of a lost civilization and confront the ancient threats it left behind. Finally, "Wake of the Icons" explores the aftermath of a cataclysmic event, challenging characters to navigate the chaos and forge a new destiny for the Third Horizon.

Each campaign setting book in the trilogy brings a unique flavour to the Coriolis experience, offering a deep dive into the lore, cultures, and mysteries of the game world. Whether exploring the influence of the Icons or unraveling the mysteries of forgotten civilizations, players can expect a rich and immersive experience that combines traditional tabletop role-playing elements with the unique and evocative setting of Coriolis. With its compelling narrative, diverse cultures, and a seamless blend of science fiction and mysticism, Coriolis stands out as a captivating and rewarding tabletop RPG experience for fans of the genre.
